Volkswagen’s Karmann Ghia is a beautiful classic motorcar; one which would be perfectly at home on the open road or loving life as a city cruiser with class.
History had bigger plans for them than just those, however, and wild racing Karmann Ghias developed a commanding presence in off-road and sports sedan racing.
Throughout the 1960s and ‘70s, motor sport competitors with an eye for engineering used Type 14 Karmann Ghias as a platform for motorsport development. And they were both quick and competitive!
