Player’s presents a video so incredibly retro, it’s almost too good to be true – The Challengers is a wonderful snapshot of the world of Formula Atlantic racing in the 1970s.
Born out of Formula B in the mid-1960s, Formula Atlantic saw some of the sport’s greats, big names like Hunt, Villeneuve, Patrese and Lafitte along with everyday men and women pass through it. Its story is one of a grassroots, simple and pure form of motorsport, filled with incredibly brave, fiercely competitive and undeniably quick drivers and a carefree community spirit.
