Submitted by msr on July 10, 2012
Even at their worst, Formula One cars have had a commanding presence and beauty to them. From the petite and neat machines of the ’50s and ’60s to the wilder machines of the ’80s and all of the innovations and experiments in between, they’ve inspired, excited and provoked.
This video, from Rufus Blacklock of Big Plane Blues, distils them to their most iconic form – their silhouette – to track their evolution through the decades from the ’50s all the way to 2012. Enjoy!
