1997 F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve spent 11 years racing in F1. He placed second in his debut season whilst racing for Rothmans Williams, whom he would go on to win the championship with in the following year. The year prior to entering F1 he won the 1995 IndyCar series, taking first place in the Indy 500 during the process.
