It takes Jean Ragnotti all of ten seconds to prove he’s still the master of the R5 Maxi Turbo.
In 1981 Jean Ragnotti claimed first place at the Monte Carlo Rally, becaming the first man to ever win a round of WRC whilst driving a turbocharged car . That car was the Renault 5 Turbo, the same car in which he would go on to win in France in the following year. By 1985 the R5 Maxi Turbo was on the scene, and Ragnotti would again win in his native France.
