Video: Building the fastest car in the world

In 1957 MG built the fastest car in the world, before transporting it all the way from Britain to Bonneville to prove it.
The car was powered by a 1.5 litre twin-cam supercharged engine, the driver was none other than Sir Stirling Moss. This captivating 1957 documentary tells the story of their campaign to break a handful of world land speed records by exceeding 4 miles per minute (240mph).

Two years later the record was again reset by Phil Hill in a revision of the same car.
