For Sale: 1991 Ayrton Senna F1 race suit

A wonderful centerpiece for any collection of F1 memorabilia.  In just under two weeks time, RM Auctions will offer one very collectable piece of Ayrton Senna memorabilia. What you’re looking at, is one of the actual race suits that he wore during the 1991 Formula 1 season – the final year in which he would win the Formula 1 World Championship.

More than a piece of clothing – this suit is an immaculately presented piece of history. It’s set to be auctioned on Saturday May 10th, 2014 without reserve and is expected to sell for between 30,000 and 40,000 Euro.

The suit will be supplied with authenticity documentation from Ron Dennis, the team principle of McLaren during Senna’s time driving for them. The suit was also formerly part of Dennis’ personal collection.
