Celebrating Kimi Raikkonen’s 200th Grand Prix
The 2014 Monaco Grand Prix next week will be a big moment for Kimi Raikkonen. Let’s look back at his Formula 1 career.
To date Kimi Raikkonen has sat on the grid and started 199 Formula 1 Grands Prix. This week, that will click over to 200, making him a member of a very exclusive club. Raikkonen is best known for becoming Formula 1 World Champion in 2007 whilst driving for Ferrari. Let’s take a look back at each of the 12 F1 seasons in which he has competed, and for who.

2001 – Sauber – debut season – 10th overall
2002 – McLaren – first podium (3rd in Australia) – 6th overallĀ
2003 – McLaren – first F1 GP win (Malaysia) – 2nd overall
2007 – Ferrari – 1st overall – Formula 1 World Champion
2009 – Ferrari – leaves F1 – 6th overall
