Photo of the Day: Nigel Mansell (1991)

Nigel Mansell on his way to winning the 1991 British Grand Prix.
The race was of course held at Silverstone, and the car was the Williams FW14. Nigel had an unbelievable weekend – qualifying first ahead of Ayrton Senna, and then beating Gerhard Berger in the race by more than 42 seconds to claim the win. He’d win in Germany during the next round too, however ultimately it would be Senna who would become Formula 1 World Champion in 1991.
