Denny Hulme’s 1971 CanAm McLaren M8F thunders around IMS.
It couldn’t have been easy back in the early 1970s, hustling a car like the McLaren M8F around the track amongst a field of CanAm monsters. With an aggressive race-prepped Chevrolet big block itching to turn the tyres and punish the driver for jumping on the throttle just that little bit early, and nothing but your wits, three pedals and a tiny steering wheel to control the process – this was a car for the brave!
