“Mercedes 300 SLR is the best racing car ever built” – Moss

In 1955 Stirling Moss won the Mille Miglia in a Mercedes 300 SLR, doing so over 1600km with an average speed of 157km/h. Today, we learn why it was his favorite racing car of all as Sir Stirling Moss talks about his days racing in the Mille Miglia whilst explaining the greatest racing challenges he ever faced, and more. “The Mercedes 300 SLR is the best racing car ever built” he exclaims.

An interesting fact is that Juan Manuel Fangio drove the other Mercedes 300 SLR in the ’55 Mille Migalia.
