Black and White Magic – Goodwood – Widescreen Gallery
If there’s a place in the world that suits black and white photography more than the Goodwood Revival, then I’d love to hear of it.
The annual event is a celebration of an era gone by of gentleman racers and classic metal at the Goodwood Circuit.
However the age of the machinery in attendance does not dictate the pace. The event is no slouch, delivering some of the most energetic and enthusiastic revivals of all things vintage.
The attention to detail in making sure everything is period-correct is simply breathtaking, and not just from those involved in the event, but every single spectator turns up dressed for the occasion.
Although colour has the ability to convey a life like account of events, there’s nothing like black and white images that capture just that little bit more than ‘just’ an event.
Here’s a collection of some of my favourite black and white’s from this year’s event with a focus on the reliving the Revival experience.
