De Tomaso Pantera – Amazing pure sound – Video

Up close and personal with a beautiful DeTomaso Pantera – the famous Ford powered Italian supercar, built between 1971 and 1991. Both on and off the track, the De Tomaso Pantera was an awesome sports car. Powered by a small block Ford V8 and wrapped in an Italian designed body, it was a curious combination which worked so well that they were manufactured until as late as 1991.

Today, to see a De Tomaso Pantera in the metal is a treat. This particular car was spotted at Sydney Motorsport Park, and had been extensively modified for racing. We caught a few moments with it in the pits and managed to snap this quick video of it idling, revving up and being prepared to do battle on the track. Just listen to that glorious note!
