Formula 3 chaos – Macau 1995 – Video

A pileup of epic Formula 3 proportions unfolds on the first lap of the 1995 Macau Grand Prix. Trulli, Schumacher and Couto escape – the rest of the field aren’t so lucky. The 1995 Macau Grand Prix looked to be going well, for all of 45 seconds. Soon after the Formula 3 race commenced, the majority of the field were involved in a spectacular accident.

Massen (the defending winner of the 1994 event), Fontana, De La Rosa, Couceiro, Wurz and Gavin were all involved. Ralf Schumacher went on to win the race ahead of Jarno Trulli and Pedro de la Rosa. Total chaos!
