In 2001, Ex F1 and Indycar racer Alex Zanardi was involved in a sickening accident in Germany – one which by all accounts should not have been survivable. Not only did Alex live, he’s gone on to race again, and even become a Paralympian.

It’s all thanks to a fast acting, level headed doctor who attended the race on that day in 2001. A doctor who Alex Zanardi also calls a friend. What’s it like to meet, talk and laugh with him? Alex explains…
