What happens when a 1973 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0L, 1974 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0L and Cobra Automotive Shelby Mustang GT350 get together at Road Atlanta’s The Mitty for a spot of classic racing action?

This video picks up in the final three laps of a Group 5 race at The Mitty, with the two Porsches and the Mustang at each other’s throats for seventh place. Yves Scemama and Mike Banz are piloting the Porsches and doing glorious motorsport battle with the GT350 of Moore/Bentley.

The cameras are on board the two Porsches, which provides a great perspective of the cars sliding around searching for grip and track position as they swap between seventh, eighth and ninth and duck and weave their way through slower traffic.

The racing is incredibly clean, which is quite something seeing as the drivers aren’t leaving an inch on the table as they deal with each other, and everyone else. And Road Atlanta – what a track!
