The Alan Jay Automotive Network HSR Classic 12 Hours of Sebring, Pistons and Props, will return to the classic Sebring circuit over the first to the fourth of December, 2016.
The Alan Jay Automotive Network Classic 12 Hours of Sebring will be presented by Classic Motorsports Magazine and celebrate the incredible auto racing of the 12 Hours of Sebring as well as the military and civil aviation history of Hendricks Field.
The event will see historic sports cars and classic airplanes gathered together at Sebring. Vintage aircraft will land on one of the Sebring runways, then taxi into the paddock to be displayed alongside the classic race cars.
“It is an honor for HSR to join with Sebring International Raceway in recreating seven decades of the 12 Hours of Sebring and to pay tribute to the iconic facility’s rich aviation history,”
“On the racing side, we will be able to showcase all generations of sports car racing in the United States with the iconic makes of the 1950s all the way up to modern Daytona Prototypes that will soon to be retired from IMSA.” – HSR President David Hinton
The packed weekend of motorsport will not only feature the Classic 12 Hour race, but a full race programme for six Run Groups made up of cars from similar eras. It will also include the final 2016 rounds of the HSR sprint and enduro championships and year-end awards celebrations.
Off track festivities will include car corrals and vendor areas as well as sponsor and spectator promotions.
Tickets for the event are available now at www.hsrtickets.com.
