Frankfurt Flying: Jason Drives the Most Beautiful Handmade Car on Earth
Jason Torchinsky enjoys a great day at the office in this video, taking the Rünge Frankfurt Flyer 004 out for a spin.
RÜNGE KAROSSERIE :: Flyer Motorwerks is Chris Runge’s magic workshop, where he hand-hammers aluminium into bespoke cars inspired by Germany’s aluminium-bodied post-war race cars.
Chris finished FF001, the prototype ‘Frankfurt Flyer’ in 2012, and completed his fifth car, FF005, just a few weeks ago in early September. The cars are getting better and better as he refines his technique and processes, and it’s brilliant to see such a unique and inspiring project develop.
This video comes thanks to Jason Torchinsky of Jalponik, who has the honour of taking FF004 out for a spin in the depths of the Minnesota winter, and couldn’t be happier.
