McKlein Calendars Go Retro for 2017

The latest 2017 calendars from McKlein Photography’s legendary collection head back to the golden age of the sport to feature Group B rally and the motorsport of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

McKlein Photography’s 2017 collection introduces two classic calendars into their line-up – the McKlein Rally Calendar 2017 and Motorsport Classic 2017. Both feature immaculate prints of classic motorsport photographs and look absolutely stunning.

The McKlein Rally Calendar 2017 is a new series for the publisher, and looks to be a must for fans of classic rally. It strides confidently into our hearts by featuring the mad machines and moments of Group B.

The calendar includes 25 color photographs from the Group B period. Amongst them are a few particularly special and rare photographs that complement a selection of better-known classic images. The unique atmosphere and crazy crowds of rally’s most out-there period are captured magnificently, as are its legendary, boundary-smashing machines like the Audi Sport Quattro E2, Peugeot 205 T16 and Lancia Delta S4.

Motorsport Classic 2017 is a high-quality black and white calendar featuring 25 images from Formula 1, sports car racing and international rally competition during the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. Classic moments, like Jim Clark giving Graham Hill a lift on his engine cover, are represented along with many more. It’s classy, evocative and full of stories from motorsport’s golden age.

Both calendars are 67cm X 48cm and offer a choice of two images to display each month. The Group B calendar is 25 pages and the Motorsport Classic calendar is 26 including an additional page telling the stories of the moments captured in the photographs.
