New Tom Havlasek Limited Edition Motorsport Prints for Christmas
Art by Tom Havlasek
We’ve been big fans of Czech artist Tom Havlasek’s retro motorsport art for some years now, so we were thrilled when he contacted us recently to share some of his new works.
His new pieces, created with acrylic on canvas and utilising a new 65 x 165cm format, capture moments from the golden age of motorsport in his signature bombastic style.
One such moment he describes as standing by the Mirabeau hotel, watching the 1965 Monaco Grand Prix from above as 1964 Formula 1 World Champion John Surtees screams through in his Ferrari to finish fourth. Another features Peter Revson driving for McLaren in 1973 – the year he took his first Formula 1 grand prix victory.
He’s brought these works and a few classics, such as the Steve McQueen No. 20 Gulf Porsche 917 and Ayrton Senna 1994 Williams FW16, together for a Christmas collection of limited edition canvas prints. Only 25 copies of each print will be available, and all are stunning.
Enjoy the works below. Send Tom an email if you’d like to purchase prints or organise a commission, and make sure to check out his website here and Facebook page here for more of his work.
